First off let me award my web host award to Hostgator. In the 4 years I have been internet marketing I found they they have the best: prices,packages,features and support.

Now let me go into why I think they are the best hosts and the criteria I use to pick my favorite host:

Pricing

I know they say that you get what you pay for, but can’t I get something good for less? I jumped around from some really cheap and terrible hosting to things that were slightly better. Finally I arrived at hostgator.

If you look at the prices (click on web hosting at the top) you can see the prices for the services are fantastic.

Packages

I like to see what kind of space & transfer amount I get to use. Also resources. This might sound like mumbo jumbo but space just measures how much you can host and transfer says how many people are allowed to visit your site. Because hostgator gives you huge packages you don’t have to worry about ever running out.

Features

Hostgator uses WHM, Cpanel, phpMYADMIN, MYSQL and tons tons more.

What that means: You’ll never hear of those things until you need to install software or a program on your site. A lot of web hosts cheap out on those and you don’t realize until too late. Hostgator has EVERYTHING. You’ll need.

Support

This one doesn’t come into play until your website has a problem. And believe me, if you do this for long enough you will have a problem eventually. And if your site is offline you’re losing money every second. Believe me it gets really frustrating.

That’s why I love Hostgator’s 24/7 support. I can pick to use the online chat or phone support.

I think you guys can see why I picked host gator for all my sites. Now let me show you how to save money:

Follow These Steps:

1. Click Here to Start
2. Click Web Hosting (at the top)
3. Click Order Now under Baby (we use Baby because you can host UNLIMITED WEBSITES! Hatchling is OK if you only have one)

One more option

Yet another option is from Google. It’s called Blogger and its pretty good for free blogs. I’ll tell you that I don’t recommend them because its very constricted and lacks a lot of the stuff we get in real hosting. it is good for a personal or business blog because its free and widely recognized.

A Company I Don’t Use

One webhost that I don’t use (and don’t recommend using) is Godaddy for Hosting. You see, Godaddy is really good for domains but I find that for hosting they charge too much and don’t give you enough options. That’s a big no no in my books. I’ll talk about how you can get cheaper and better hosting.

One Big Host
